Individual Sessions

Individual Sessions Working privately helps you develop a personal practice, so that you can receive the greatest benefits from yoga. Your home sequence can be as short as ten minutes or as long as one hour depending on the amount of time you can comfortably devote. Even a short regular practice is greatly beneficial for physical and emotional wellness.

Individual Sessions
Individual sessions offer personalized instruction and will fine-tune yoga to you. Supported by a skilful teacher, Sara Persson, you will learn techniques that respect your starting point, physical structure, energy level, mind, lifestyle and goals. Your practice can be gentle or vigorous - it may include yoga poses, special breathing practices, sound, relaxation and meditation.

Individual SessionsIndividual instruction with Sara is a collaborative process that allows time for feedback and enables you to make efficient and safe progress in yoga. Beginners gain confidence as they are gently guided through movements and breathing techniques. For experienced students, private instruction is a way to refine yoga techniques and deepen the practice. Your sequence is carefully adjusted to your changing needs and interests over time. With each private session you receive an illustrated take-home practice.

Yoga Well WithinThe ninety minute initial session allows time for discussing your goals and priorities and beginning a practice. A series of 3-5 sessions helps establish a practice that meets your specific needs and develop confidence with your personal at-home practice. Follow-up sessions are helpful for maintaining a steady, living connection with a practice that adapts and changes over time as your practice transforms you.

Yoga Therapy

In time of injury or disease, a specific therapeutic sequence can be healing and nourishing. Yoga therapy provides complementary therapeutic support for many conditions and a framework for moving in the direction of healing. The emphasis is on supporting the whole person rather than just focusing on disease.

TherapyA therapeutic yoga practice can help you better manage a condition, ease discomfort, restore balance, increase vitality and improve the quality of life. It can help with structural and physiological conditions. Yoga therapy benefits those with conditions such as back pain, chronic neck tension, sciatica, heart problems, asthma, allergies, auto immune disorders, PMS and menopause symptoms.

Yoga can also be adapted to balance the mind, nourish the heart and work with emotional states such as depression and anxiety. A mind-heart oriented practice can help you return to yourself and find new perspectives when experiencing stress, changes and growth.
